I am sure you would have heard of this topic called “FOLLOW UP” in Sales.
A lot of people don’t want to talk about follow-up.
It’s not sexy.
But do you realize that if you’re not following up on your customers, you’re definitely not following up on your dreams.
Follow up. Don’t quit.
When things don’t materialize, you still need to follow up.
Why? Because there are still deals to be made and opportunities to be exploited.
When you start a deal, a business, a relationship or anything else if you don’t follow up you’ll end up right back at the beginning.
When you don’t follow up you abandon your post.
When you abandon your post you are treasonous. You are committing treason against yourself and anyone else you care about or anyone who relies on you.
Now, how do you follow up?
Constantly, consistently, concisely, creatively, and without compromise.
Be interesting in order to get people interested.
You gotta be there.
You gotta be the guy.
You gotta be up in people’s faces.
You gotta make them remember you.
You call. Then you text. Then you email. Then you send a letter. Then go visit. Then you do it all over again. You follow up.
It may not be sexy but you know what is sexy? Closing the deal.
